Because life changes, theses terms may change too and a new version of the terms will be posted on the website and will be applicable the day after their publication on this website. Therefore, read these terms on a regular basis. The actual version of these terms is dated July 16, 2012

If you are a registered member of Globemploy, you shall receive a notification of the change of these terms by email in due course.

ACCESS TO OUR SERVICES

Registration: To have access to Globemploy services, you must register and create a profile. If you are a candidate, there is no fee. It's free.

The registration requires your choosing an identifier and a confidential password for your profile. They should not be disclosed or shared with anyone. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your identifier, your password, and limit the access to your computer. You assume the responsibility of the transactions made in your account with the use of your confidential password. We recommend that you change your password on a regular basis. If the confidentiality of your password is compromised, please advise us immediately to avoid any fraudulent usage of your Globemploy profile. Globemploy will not be held responsible for fraudulent usage of your profile and for any ensuing loss or damage.

Functioning: Globemploy may deactivate your account, without prior notice or indemnity if you do not comply with any of these terms and conditions of services.

Globemploy has no obligation to identify users when they log on its website or control the content which is put online under the full and exclusive responsibility of the user. Beware of spamming and mail bombing actions.They are unsolicited e-mails, sent indiscriminately to multiple mailing lists or individuals, often generated by automated tools.It is therefore your responsibility to take all information and useful precautions on contacts made through Globemploy. We assume no responsibility or liability in this regard.

Globemploy will deactivate the account within 48 hours from receipt of such request.

Availability: The services are normally accessible by the user 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round.

Globemploy reserves the right to make any modifications and improvements to its services that it will consider necessary or useful and will not be liable for damages of any nature that may arise therefrom. Moreover, Globembloy reserves the right, without prior notice or indemnity, to terminate permanently a service or a group of services it offers on the website and will not be liable for damages of any nature that may arise therefrom.

In particular, Globemploy assumes no liability whatsoever if its service is interrupted or suspended in the event of a breakdown, superior force or network problem.

Capacity/Age: If you don’t have legal capacity to contract, you cannot access our services without the consent of a parent or a legal representative. To place an order, you must also own a valid personal bank card.

Social media content: You may comment and review services offered by Globemploy. However, even if we do not have the obligation to screen post content in advance and are not responsible for screening these contents, we reserve the right to not publish a comment for any reason whatsoever and to correct the content of the comment for spelling or grammatical reasons.

The critics, views and comments expressed are under your sole responsibility and do not necessarily reflect those of Globemploy.

When you submit content to Globemploy via internet forums, chat rooms, commentary etc. you grant us the royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, communicate to the public, perform and display the content, totally or in part, worldwide and/or to create derivative work and incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed, for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content. All unauthorised usage of the said content may warrant criminal and/or penal legal action against the offender.

Trademarks and logos; the trademarks and logos used on the site are either registered trademarks or common law ones. Nothing within the site can be interpreted in a that allows the direct or indirect usage of our trademarks or logos withoutour prior written consent from us. You do not have the authorisation to use Meta tags or any other cached text that use the name or Globemploy trademark without our written consent.

Copyright: All content regardless of its nature (text, images, pictures, video, sound, etc.) that are displayed on Globemploy are protected by copyright laws and international conventions related to Intellectual property. Nothing from Globemploy can be reproduced, copied, distributed, translated, downloaded, displayed or transmitted by any means without our prior written consent or the owner of the copyright.

PURCHASE AND PRICE:

To be authorized to place an order on Globemploy, you must first review and accept these terms and conditions of services, which you can print by clicking on the Print icon of the browser or by choosing Print in the file menu.

Clicking on the "I Accept" button on the payment mode registration screen constitutes an electronic signature, which certifies your consent without reservation to these terms and conditions of services and to the special conditions associated with the purchase of services.

Prices posted on Globemploy are display in US Dollars and exclusive of taxes. Taxes, if applicable,will be calculated and displayed before final confirmation of the order.

You can pay with another currency via PayPal services. You will be subjected to their terms and conditions of use.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

THE MATERIAL AND INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE ARE PROVIDED AS IS, WITHOUT ANY IMPLIED OR EXPRESS WARRANTY, SUBJECT TO ANY PUBLIC ORDER LEGISLATION TO THE CONTRARY. GLOBEMPLOY FURTHER DECLINES ANY LIABILITY WHATSOEVER, WHETHER TOWARDS A CANDIDATE OR AN EMPLOYER IN THE EVENT THAT A CURRICULUM VITAE DOES NOT APPEAR FOLLOWING A SEARCH OR APPEARS WHEN IT SHOULD NOT HAVE APPEARED, OR IS SENT IN ERROR BECAUSE IT DOES NOT CORRESPOND TO THE SEARCH CRITERIA SPECIFIED BY THE EMPLOYER.

IF, NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, GLOBEMPLOY IS FOUND LIABLE TOWARDS AN EMPLOYER OR A CANDIDATE, SUCH LIABILITY SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $ 100).

Globemploy may terminate its service at any time, at its sole discretion, without refunding any sums paid to it. Globemploy has no obligation to find a candidate to fill a position posted by an employer. Similarly, it assumes no obligation towards a candidate to find a position or employment for the candidate.

Globemploy assumes no liability whatsoever regarding information obtained on another site through a hyperlink on its Site.Globemploy shall not be liable for the total or partial non-performance of any of its obligations, or for the damages or losses suffered, if such non-performance, damages or losses result from superior force or circumstances beyond its control.

APPLICABLE LAW

These terms of services and the following Confidentiality, Privacy and Security rules shall be governed by the laws applicable in the province of Québec, Canada. If you access this website from another country, you have to check first the compliance of our services with the Public Order of your own country of residence. All disputes shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in the District of Montreal, Québec, Canada, to the exclusion of all other courts.

CONFIDENTIALITY, PRIVACY AND SECURITY RULES:

The collection and protection of your personal data are governed by what follows:

Collection of data for registration purpose: to access Globemploy services, you must provide your first name and your last name, your gender, your address, and a valid email address. To apply for a position, you will have to disclose the following information: mother tongue, other languages and level of fluency ( written and oral), experience and training, type of position you are seeking, geographical region you would want to work.

Your records will be kept for the following duration after your last update: 12 MONTHS

For employers, to access our services, you must provide us with a valid email address, and then the name and address of your business, your field of activity, the name of a contact person, telephone and fax numbers.

This information will be available for registered candidates. You can ask us to destroy your data by making a request by email, letter or fax at Globemploy. Otherwise the data will be saved for a period deemed appropriate by us.

Protection of personal information: Your data will be stored on the secure servers of the data center of our choice. Financial transactions are done via SSL (Secure Socket Layer)or TLS (Transport Layer Security) certificate. Credit card numbers are not stored in the system and must be provided for each transaction.

Your profile and your resume are public by default.

You also have the option to not disclose to all employers or some of them, your personal details, such as name, address and resume contained in your profile. This personal information will be withdrawn when your resume is presented to a potential employer. The employer will know that you may meet its search criteria, but it will not know your identity if you decide to keep it confidential.

Cookies: Cookies are small devices which are stored on your computer’s hard drive. They are useful for facilitating navigation and are used by Globemploy to allow continuing authentication and tracking your web site preferences. They contain no identifying or personal information. However, if you do not want to have registered your navigation preferences, you can go in your browsers preference menu and configure your system to warn you each time a cookie is sent and decide if you want to accept it or not.
